I finally got around to posting the pictures from my family trip to Washington D.C. this past April. The highlight of our trip was seeing the cherry blossoms in peak season! All the walkways and underneath the cherry blossom trees were filled with people from all over the world looking at the breathtaking array of light pink and white blossoms lining the Tidal Basin. Robbins Preserve Park (Robbins Lodge Park) in Davie, Florida is one of my favorite parks in South Florida. A reason why it is one of my favorite parks is because it does not look like it belongs in South Florida. The park has many oak trees, open fields, equestrian trails, a children’s playground, a beautiful white gazebo, and a brick lodge building that gives the park a northern feel.
